Esports Authority is run by MLGAnakin, a gaming and esports creator. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. We built this site for our community, and looking after your information is part of that.

Information We Collect

• Account details you share when you sign in through Google, Steam, Discord, FACEIT, or Twitch, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and platform username or ID.
• If you connect a YouTube channel, we read basic public channel details, like your channel name, so we can confirm the connection. We do not read your videos, comments, or any private data.
• If you link a Minecraft account, we store the username and UUID you provide so it can be verified.
• Your activity on the site, such as wheel spins, wallet balances, giveaway entries, quest completions, and shop orders. We keep this so the site works correctly and so prizes and rewards go to the right person.
• A Steam trade link, only if you choose to add one, so we can send you items you win or purchase.
• Basic technical details like your IP address and browser type, used only for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Information

• To run core features: signing in, wallets, spins, giveaways, quests, the shop, and the leaderboard.
• To reach you about an order, a prize, or a problem with your account.
• To keep the site secure and to catch abuse like duplicate accounts or exploited bugs.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

How We Share Information

We do not share your personal information with outside companies, aside from the services that make the site work, such as our hosting provider and our payment processor, Stripe, and only as much as is needed to run the site. Some information, like your username, avatar, and public stats, is visible to other visitors as part of normal site features (leaderboard, standings, supporters wall) unless an opt out is offered and you use it.

Google User Data

Esports Authority's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. If you connect your YouTube account, that connection is only used to confirm your engagement with the channel for quest rewards. We do not use YouTube data for any other purpose, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will remove it.

Data Removal

You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time by reaching out through the Contact Us button on the site. We will take care of it as quickly as we can.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this page as the site grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top.
