Supporting the project

The Support page has everything: our Patreon and other ways to give, the live funding total, every goal and what it unlocks, and a public ledger of every donation and every dollar spent. You can also help for free - invite a friend, run your next event here, or tell your league about us.

Glossary

Account Levels
Levels 1 to 50 that every account climbs for free by earning XP. Every level pays out something - cosmetics, card packs, XP or a free wheel spin. Nothing here is bought.
Account Subscription (Free / Pro / Max)
A timed upgrade - a weekend, two weeks, three months or a year. It unlocks more organizer features (more events, fields and teams at once) and gives a small boost to XP, card pack odds and wheel odds. It is separate from your account level.
XP
Experience points, shown with the star. Earned by playing games, running events, quests, packs and visiting. XP is not a currency - it cannot be spent; it only moves your account level up.
Gold Coins
The site's premium currency. Buys subscriptions, packs, wheel spins, the daily shop, custom web addresses and ads. 1 Gold = 10 Silver.
Silver Coins
The everyday currency. Buys single card packs and daily shop items, and converts 10 to 1 into Gold.
Elo
A skill rating for every team and player that moves with real results - beat a stronger team and it moves more. Everyone starts at 5000.
OVR / ATK / DEF
Overall, attack and defence ratings on a card, worked out from real game results.
Card Pack
Four trading cards and one cosmetic. Cards are numbered in the order they are pulled.
Flip Battle
The card game. Place cards on a 3x4 board; a higher number on a touching side flips the card next to it.
Cosmetic
Anything that changes how your card, name or profile looks - shapes, borders, fonts, banners, titles, effects. Rarity runs Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic.
Rarity
How rare a card or cosmetic is: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Exotic. Each has its own colour and shape.
Quests
Goals that count themselves as you play: the one-time Rookie Path for new accounts, plus dailies and weeklies.
Achievements
Milestones you count up to. Each unlocks a trophy or cosmetic once.
Supporter
Following a player or team. Two players who support each other can message privately.
Seed
A team's starting position in a bracket or pool. Lock a seed to keep it in place when you shuffle.
Pool Play
The group stage - teams play everyone in their pool, and the standings decide the playoff bracket.
Single / Double Elimination
Playoff formats. Single: lose once and you are out. Double: you are out after a second loss.
Score Reporting
Who can enter scores for an event - the organizer, admins they flag, or the captains of the two teams in a game.
Forever Event Slot
An extra event you can hold at once, bought for 2 Gold and kept forever on top of any plan (up to 10). Holds a tournament or a league.
Custom Web Address
A second, memorable link for a profile, team or event, bought for a set time. The original link always keeps working.
Add-Ons
Optional extras bought per item rather than with a subscription: Elo and leaderboard tracking for an event, custom web addresses and forever event slots.
Event Start Gate
An event whose settings need Pro or Max cannot take scores until the organizer's subscription covers every day of it. The event page says what is missing and when to renew.
Pay With Card
Paying by card when you are short on Gold: your card buys the closest Gold pack, the Gold finishes the purchase, and the rest stays on your account.
Placeholder Team
A stand-in name on the schedule until the real team is known. Swap in the real name later and every game keeps its place.
Registered Team
A real team on the site, linked to an event. Only registered teams carry Elo and results beyond that one event; a typed-in team's numbers stay with the event.
