Questions

How many pools should a softball tournament have?

Most tournaments use pools of 3 to 5 teams. The creator deals teams into even pools for you and shows how many games that makes before you save.

How is a pool tie broken?

Points come first. After that the organizer sets the order of head-to-head, run difference, runs scored and fewest runs allowed, and the standings show which rule decided each spot.

Can pool play seed more than one bracket?

Yes. Split the playoffs into A, B and C brackets by seed so every team plays teams at its level.

Is it free?

It is free to start. A Free account runs 1 event at a time with up to 16 teams, 4 fields and 15 days, with schedules, brackets, live scores and an event page. Pro and Max raise those limits and remove ads, and can be bought for a single weekend.

Do teams and players need an app or an account?

No. The event is one link that opens in the browser on any phone or PC. Anyone can look at the schedule, bracket and standings without signing in.

Does the site collect entry fees or pay out prize money?

No. Organizers collect entry fees and pay prizes their own way. The site can show the fee and the prize pool on the event page, but the money never goes through it.
