Questions
Can I schedule a hockey tournament on more than one rink?
Yes. Rinks run side by side in the schedule. A Free account covers 4 rinks, Pro 8 and Max 32.
How long should a hockey tournament game slot be?
Most rec tournaments book 50 to 60 minutes of ice per game, flood included. The creator starts at 60 minutes and 3 periods, and you can change both.
How are ties handled?
A pool play tie earns each team 1 point by default. Playoff games need a winner, and the rules page says tied games go to overtime, then a shootout.
Can I change the standings points?
Yes. Set the points for a win, a tie and a loss when you create the event.
Is it free?
It is free to start. A Free account runs 1 event at a time with up to 16 teams, 4 fields or rinks and 15 days, with schedules, brackets, live scores and an event page. Pro and Max raise those limits and remove ads, and can be bought for a single weekend.
Do teams and players need an app or an account?
No. The event is one link that opens in the browser on any phone or PC. Anyone can look at the schedule, bracket and standings without signing in.
Does the site collect entry fees or pay out prize money?
No. Organizers collect entry fees and pay prizes their own way. The site can show the fee and the prize pool on the event page, but the money never goes through it.
